In 2007, Jon cofounded Calrom and has led and grown the technology development utilising his broad technical experience and innovative design skills to bridge the gap between the customer and his specialist staff. Jon is particularly proud of the unique design and innate flexibility engendered within the company’s latest software platform. This was created to allow tour operators, travel agents and airline staff to self-administer extremely complex group and leisure bookings throughout the lifecycle from quote to post ticketing amendment, all within a simple to use web based interface.
Prior to establishing Calrom, Jon had an academic career including both research and teaching at the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology.
